The Forest is a commercial/residential complex situated in North Jakarta. The shop houses and residential houses are located back-to-back, with the view of Java Sea that can be seen nearby. The shop houses are 3.5-storeys high, consisting of 2 different variants. The residential houses and 3-storeys high, featuring modern tropical style. 

The project required us to recondition a 15yr old existing resort hotel located in Manado. Our task was to redesign the common facilities, one of them was the restaurant. The restaurant structure was located in an axis directly facing towards the jetty / port that leads to the Island of Bunaken. Raised up, the restaurant allows guests to view the sea and the island far ahead. The "grand" stairs that lead up to the restaurant are supported by presence of water features and gardens, strengthening the resort atmosphere. 

This was a proposed design for the renowned resort in West Java. The front building needed to have a strong and welcoming statement that portrays the characteristic of the resort. The approach was to use a secondary skin that mimics a birdcage using wood as its primary material. As for the small portion of triangular roof adds a little sense of fun and friendlier invitation to visitors.

This was a proposed design for a resort in Senggigi, Lombok. The concept incorporated individual modern chalets lining up on a sloping site facing down the sea. Facilities like restaurant, swimming pools and chapel are located way in front by the beach. 

The contemporary chapel is situated on a higher level where it "floats" on water, overlooking the sea.

The main lobby welcomes guests with a direct view to the ocean. A touch of Lombok island itself is seen by the use of local stone for the walls, songket fabric pattern for the screen, and teak wood for the ceiling and the center table.
